Richard M. Morgan, Esq.

Richard M. Morgan has been practicing law in Georgia since 1987. Richard founded the Alpharetta law firm of Morgan & DiSalvo P.C. in 1995 to help individuals and families plan and prepare for the many changes that life brings.

Richard prides himself on bringing peace of mind to individuals and families by helping them prepare for significant life events. In addition to the primary practice areas of the firm, Richard also specializes in finding creative solutions for clients in the areas of estate & tax planning, estate & trust dispute resolution, business succession planning, planning for special needs beneficiaries, creditor protection, charitable gift planning and tax controversies.

Richard's work is differentiated by his level of service and attention to detail. His technical and analytical capabilities and problem-solving approach are unique among attorneys. As a leader in his field, Richard is past president of the Taxation Sections of both the Georgia and Atlanta Bar Associations, the Estate Planning & Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, the North Georgia Estate Planning Council and the Georgia Planned Giving Council. Richard also serves on the legislative committee of the Fiduciary law section of the Georgia Bar Association.

Richard has used his charitable gift planning expertise over the years to assist several larger Atlanta charitable organizations by serving as the chairman or member of their professional advisory committees, inlcuding the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Jewish Family & Career Services, the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta and YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta.

Richard received his B.B.A. in Accounting, cum laude, and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia. He received his LL.M. in Taxation from Emory University. Richard is a frequent speaker on estate planning, charitable gift planning, business succession planning and other tax related topics.

Richard is an avid sports fan and resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, where he shares his passion for playing and watching sports with his wife, Lynn, and three children.


Loraine M. DiSalvo, Esq.

Loraine DiSalvo has been practicing law in Georgia since 1997. Loraine is a partner with Morgan & DiSalvo, P.C., the Alpharetta law firm dedicated to helping individuals and families plan and prepare for the many changes that life brings.

Loraine's areas of concentration include Estate Planning, Probate and Administration, Charitable Giving and Tax Planning. She specializes in addressing the unique needs of extended and non-traditional families and domestic partnerships.

Loraine is a member of the North Fulton Bar Association, the Stonewall Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. She is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association's Estate Planning and Probate Section and as a contributing editor of The Mortmain, which is published by the Estate Planning and Probate Section for its members. She is also currently serving as the Vice President of Finance/Treasurer for the Professional Women's Information Network (ProWIN), an organization which provides networking, educational, and charitable opportunities for entrepreneurial and professional women in the metropolitan Atlanta area.

An Atlanta native, Loraine graduated cum laude from Georgia State University and earned her J.D. degree, with distinction, from Emory University. Loraine has one adopted daughter and two grandchildren. She lives in Sandy Springs with her husband, Anthony, and enjoys riding motorcycles and using her expertise as a trained auto mechanic to work on their '57 Chevy Pickup.
